Joe’s 4-Day EMOJI 4-Cast features: 🥵 to 🥶
Record Heat to a #BrrrAlert in 48 hours time!
After smashing the record high Thursday at 86°, we could set three record highs in a row! The record for today is 83° set in 2023 and Saturday’s record is 86° also set in 2023. Warm Breeze at times ushering in the heat as some could top out near 90° Saturday afternoon with mainly dry conditions until Sunday.
The main line of showers and storms ahead of the front looks to move through our neck of the woods Sunday afternoon/evening. A few pop-up storms are possible ahead of it as you’re on your way to church, so keep the umbrella on you all day Sunday. ☔️
Turning sharply C🥶LDER Monday as highs struggle into the middle 50s and remain 10°-15° BELOW Average through Tuesday. Mountains likely won’t get out of the 40s and I wouldn’t be surprised if a few ❄️flakes are in the air, especially in the ‘usual spots’ along the KY/VA border. Places like Snow Shoe, WV could pick up a light accumulation by Tuesday.
☃️Hello #DogwoodWinter … Redbud Winter was last week, so you don’t confuse the two, as several have already asked which one is next. Frost/Freeze is likely Tuesday night as temps tumble into the middle 20s! It won’t be until next Thursday that we get closer to average in the middle 60s.
~So enjoy the record heat this weekend! 😎
