G🌞❄️D Morning and HaPpY 1st Day of Spring 2025!
Ironically enough, a strong cold front blasted through our region about the time spring was getting underway. That brought chilly showers through the
9am hour into our neck of the woods. Blustery winds will make it feel like the 30s/lower 40s at times today!
…After being near 80° yesterday!
Spring into Redbud Winter… Yes, a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued across the Smokies as 1-3”+ (Mt. LeConte) of SN❄️W is expected tonight!
A few squalls may try to enter into the valley floor tonight, a coating or less expected for most locally.
We’ll start Friday morning in the chilly 20s.
While we will warm up nicely this weekend another cold front dives in to kick off next week and brings highs back below average, with a nightly frost/freeze potential. Hope you enjoyed the spring preview on Wednesday afternoon. #BrrrAlert 🥶
